The Armor of God??????

I’ve been thinking about what it means to wear the armor of God. In fact, I bet that most don’t even know what the “Armor of God” is.

The armor of God is a simple analogy Christians use for being prepared to do battle with the Satan. Knowing that the battle ground and fighting is all mental, which most don’t understand.

If you are going to fight, you should be sure you know. That is where the Armor of God comes in. It is not something you pick up, put on and then magically become a great warrior. It takes what I refer to as the 3 p’s; Patience, Practice, and Perseverance. That is why not everyone has it. They don’t want to put for any effort; they just want it to be handed to them. Aside from laziness, this armor is never complete.

Most forget that we are still children of God and as children we grow up; which means that your armor is like a pair of shoes, you grow out of them and need to get a larger size. The armor is and will always be a work in progress. For instance, when you were a child at some point you tried on our parent’s shoes or clothes and when you put them on, they didn’t fit and more than likely they swallowed you. The Armor of God is just like your parents clothes as when you were a child; you have to grow into them.

So what is this “Armor” made of? The armor consists of 3 separate pieces. One peace is the Holy Spirit, which most people may refer to as continence. The Holy Spirit is like a Military General. It guides you in battles. Every battle has a person that essentially controls the soldiers by telling them when, where and how to attack. A General will also be prepared for battle by knowing the surroundings. If the enemy were trying to sneak up from behind, you would need to know: how to listen for them, how to defend against them and how to counter attack.

The Spirit of Christ is another piece of the armor. The Spirit of Christ you gain strength, power, and defense. You can’t fight if you don’t know how to protect yourself. So this would be like your “Body Armor”.

Philippians 4:13 says: “I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.” (NKJV)

With the Spirit of Christ you are practically un-stoppable, but you can still lose, that is why you need practice.

The Bible which is your weapon and shield is what allows you to attack your enemy. Every soldier has a weapon, just as every enemy will have a weapon. Satan will try to confuse you; everything he tells you is 99% true. By knowing the words of God and keeping them in your heart, you are able to know what 1% is the lie, and then you can immediately attack your enemy with it. If you don’t know the Bible, you are fighting without a weapon.

Luke 10:19 says: “I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.” (NLV)

But, Luke 10:20 says: “All the same, the great triumph is not in your authority over evil, but in God’s authority over you and presence with you. Not what you do for God but what God does for you..” (The Message)

Now that you know what the “Armor of God” is, how it works, and what it does, and more importantly why most people don’t have it, it is up to each individual person to learn how to use it. If you don’t, you will lose the battle every time.

1 Peter 5:8 says: “Be self- controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”

Who is Satan Christ?

What is religion?  Who is Satan?  Who is Christ?  More importantly who the fuck is Satan Christ?

There are beliefs out there that push the limits of all rationalization. Beliefs that may border faith and others that may border insanity. Christianity is often ridiculed, persecuted, and surprisingly popular. Religion as a whole is commonly a passage of hope, the meaning of life, and most of all an explanation of why their life just sucks. Somehow there is the rationale that believing in a greater purpose, that “there’s a reason for everything”, or “it is God’s will for you” is somehow supposed to make a person’s miserable existence better, to welcome bad things with a smile, to appear just plain ridiculous to others.

Christianity is a fascinating religion. But is often one of the most disputed. According to Christianity, God created the world, created man, and for the atonement of humanity and their evil nature he sent down his son Jesus Christ to die for the penance of mans disobedience and defiance of God. And by doing so, means that man is now eligible to  go to heaven of which is documented as being the destination for all of humanity, but is only possible by accepting Jesus as the savior for your sins and a persistence of attempting to convert others to their beliefs and mission to save all of humanity. Yet this mission is often met with resistance from a person by the name of Satan, who is the essence of all that is evil. Satan is to be the answer of “How/Why would a person do that?” Satan is the source of all mankind’s rebelliousness and disobedience of God. Without him there would be no evil or deception. (According to Christianity)

As you dig deeper into this aspect of the religion Christianity you notate that Satan is always at war against God and Jesus. During this war it is depicted that Satan is almost a “Prosecutor” if you will, constantly challenging God that humanity is not worthy of the gift of heaven.

Somehow in this depiction Satan is classified as a fallen angel. But somehow is illustrated as having the power of God because he is omnipresent and in everyone’s head. Jesus was sent to challenge and defy the power of Satan and die for our sins.

Jesus is later documented as having the same powers of Satan, by also being omnipresent, and omniscient, and omnipotent.

So I pose the question, this battle between good and evil (Satan & Christ) resembles more like a battle between siblings for daddy’s love. They both have the same father, and in this case have the same powers, just a difference of opinion. So if that is the case and Jesus is known to us as Jesus Christ, wouldn’t that make Satan known as Satan Christ?

Christianity has made itself into a badly written epic of Superman versus Lord Zod. Where Superman will obviously defeat the evil lord Zod in the battle for the salvation of humanity.

Do you believe in Satan Christ?

This video just makes me laugh, and I suspect you will too.
